The Westin Tampa Waterside is designed to create a sense of place and space that will allow the guest to experience the Westin Pillars of Well-Being; eat, sleep, move, feel, work, and play. The word 'reflection', in both it's distinct meanings, the first being the throwing back of a body or surface of light, heat or sound and the second meaning serious thought or consideration, formed the basis of our design. Using subtle references to reflections and biophilic principles the Westin Tampa property was transformed into the perfect modern oasis on the Tampa beach. Moncur Design Associates Inc. designed and documented the renovation for the entire Guest Tower and Public Areas consisting of the Porte Cochere, Main Lobby, Prefunction and Function Spaces, Lobby Bar, Breakfast Room, Club Lounge and Public Washrooms.
