The design vision for this property celebrates the locale of the City of Montreal. Contained within the borders of the expansive St. Lawrence River to the south and the Rivière des Prairies to the north the strength and presence of water is key to the identity of the city. The aesthetics draw on forms of water, foliage and flora, the rocky riverside, and the reflection of the sun on the water. The new design scheme honours the existing elements of the space from the curved banquettes, rounded front desk, circular bar gathering experiences, and arching ceiling planes and floor transitions. Colours are extracted from the surrounding environment and compliments the existing glass screens.
