Choice Hotels and Comfort Inn Hotels

Moncur Design Associates Inc was tasked with the design problem to create a Truly Yours Canadian Edition for the Comfort Inn Guest Corridor, Standard Guestroom and Guestbath. The Truly Yours initiative, having been so successful in the US Market prompted the Choice Hotel Canadian Team to create a standard design scheme that celebrated Canadian design, Canadian product and Canadian resources. An entirely new design package was developed for Comfort Inn, and the first property to receive the new design package was the Comfort Inn Winnipeg. Using one of the three palettes developed the entire property was renovated including the standard Guestrooms and Guestbaths. The Guest feedback has been positive, and the brand positioning has improved within their specific marketplace. A streamlined casegood and softgood concept, combined with a neutral palette accented by pops of bold colour, created a guestroom experience not normally experienced in the select service sector.
