Moncur Design Associates Inc. designed the renovation of this hotel to celebrate the majesty and beauty of the Mississippi River and the charm of New Orleans, capturing the city’s history, culture, architecture and natural elements, like the lush green marshlands and southern oaks with hanging moss. The reimagined Lobby with Reception and Lobby Bar, Breakfast Room, Function Spaces including Meeting Rooms, Boardrooms and two grand Ballrooms along with the entire 19 floor guest tower that is comprised of 462 Guestrooms and suites showcases these iconic components. The design engages the five sense through a balance of the use of pattern, colour, texture and form.
